Who we are

Key Staff

The administrative staff of Shalom is comprised with people who are forward thinking and out of the box. This organization permits all of our associates to dream. To that end we work diligently to comply with all federal and state regulations and maintain personal contact with our missionaries and those who are connected to our organization. We strive for excellence in every sphere of our organization both here and abroad, and we earnestly pray for God’s wisdom and direction in our quest to advance His Kingdom.

Pastor J. Julian Dangerfield
Executive Director,
Shalom Outreach, Inc.

Pastor, Leader, Consultant, Speaker and Executive Director. Pastor Dangerfield resigned from an illustrious career in Software Engineering, to serve the ministry of Shalom Outreach as its Executive Director. He has a Bachelors degree in Business Management and has completed his Master of Arts degree in Leadership, Evangelism and Mobilization at Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina. He has been pursued by several institutions to complete his doctoral studies.

Following receiving a vision to establish Shalom Outreach, Julian successfully trained and equipped Pastors, medical doctors, teachers, social workers, and young people for missionary travel into the continents of Africa and South America. Pastor Dangerfield serves as facilitator in connecting human needs with resources. He devised strategies with ambassadors to the United Nations from African Countries to confront the HIV AIDS pandemic and to confront the social ills that exist within their nation.

Through much research, careful examination and inquiry, he has mobilized thousands of African Americans to participate in short-term missions activities and this connection has helped foster salvation, food for the hungry, clothing for the naked, medical care for the sick and visitation to those in prison.

In the United States he has organized the mission efforts of over 25 churches, ministries and not for profit organizations, which has resulted in over 48,000 people coming to Christ. His intense training and its subsequent manual has been reproduced by other organizations and continues to serve and establish policy across the world.

Julian's perspective is informed by over 27 years of ministry experience and he has traveled to over 40 countries executing strategies that lift humanity while expanding God’s Kingdom. He is a sought after preacher and facilitator who has a unique gifting to inspire others to join God in advancing the Kingdom. Statement of Faith – Page

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, inerrant, Word of God. It is the ultimate source for knowledge about God, as well as the definitive guide for our daily lives.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.
  • We believe that the church is God's ordained institution headed by Christ. The church is composed of all believers, and is organized for worship, for fellowship, for communion and for the spiritual growth and support of the believer.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all true believers and enables them to live a godly life.
  • We believe that there is spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

Shalom Outreach, Inc. is dedicated to achieving worldwide propagation of the essentials of the historic Christian faith. We intend to fulfill this mission through a fourfold strategy of creating new avenues for Christian mission trips, teaching biblical principles, equipping local pastors/congregations with ministry tools that will facilitate spiritual growth and providing educational economic opportunities.

Commitment to Financial Integrity

  • We believe that tithing is a responsibility of a believer to their local church, whereas giving is a believer's responsibility above his tithe to distribute his resources as God would direct him. Thus, we will never encourage believers to support Shalom Outreach at the expense of supporting their local church.
  • We believe that it is important to maintain our Christian witness before the world and in the eyes of the government. Thus, we will provide receipts for tax purposes for every tax deductible gift.
  • We believe we are accountable to God and to fellow believers for the responsible use of our resources. Thus, we will use the resources that God provides in accordance with biblical and practical stewardship. An annual audit of the ministry by an independent accounting firm will be provided to all who request it.
  • We believe that it is a blessing for all Christians to be able to share in a responsible ministry through their financial giving, and therefore share in the fruit of that ministry. Thus, we will make our needs known in an honest and straightforward manner, trusting that God will provide for this outreach
  • We believe it is important to remain committed to evangelizing in as many places as the Lord and our resources will allow. Thus, revenue above the cost of operations will be used to create new avenues for Christian mission trips, the teaching of biblical principles, and equipping pastors with ministry tools that will facilitate growth.
