Our travel schedule

Kenya - Kingdom Agenda / February 24 - March 4, 2019 / $3,450

It is with great excitement that we extend this invitation to you to join us in an unusual mission experience to Kenya. We are embarking upon a partnership effort with Dr. Tony Evans of the Urban Alternative and will saturate the city of Nairobi with messages centered around God's Kingdom.

This end time mission will be by invitation only as we will deploy a strategic team with a Kingdom thrust for a one-week blitz. Dr. Tony Evans is a ministry gift to the world! He is availing himself for this work and the Kenyans have put together a well-planned platform upon which he will stand to release his ministry to the Nation.

We will couple the Dr. Evans leadership training activities with a major women’s conference on the other side of town. This effort will corral the presence of approximately 800 to 1,000 Maasai women, many of whom do not have the resources to come to the leadership conference. So, we are going to them with a dynamic team of women both Kenyan and from the U.S. to elevate the journey for these sisters. Additionally, there will be electrifying nightly revival services in some of the most prominent churches throughout the city and the expectation is building as our Kenyan hosts are actively promoting this Kingdom mission.

These efforts will run simultaneously, and the impact will precipitate a shaking! It is our belief that God is shaking the Body of Christ out of apathy and complacent Christianity into a surge of sobriety that will generate a fruitful harvest.

This event is in keeping with Shalom’s theme of Advancing the Kingdom, Accelerating the Harvest. This mission trip will take place February 24 – March 4, 2019 (there may be a limited number of seats, so it would be wise to reserve your place now). The total cost of the trip is $3450.00 and the incremental payment schedule is shown below for those who will commit to fulfilling "The Great Commission" with Shalom on this trip.

Included in the cost is all training, airfare from a U.S. Airport to Kenya and back, taxes, food and housing. However, the transportation cost to and from the U.S. airport is not included in the overall expense. We will provide a 4-6 hour intensive training program..

This trip promises to be a dynamite start in what we believe will be a mighty move of God in the lives of both the Kenyans and the missionaries traveling with Shalom. If you would like to participate on this trip, your mission volunteer application form is the first step towards confirming your intent to travel to Kenya with Shalom. Please return your completed application with a copy of your passport, two passport size color photographs and your $500.00 deposit.

Brazil - Youth Transforming Lives / July 14 - 23, 2019 / $3,400

Brazil is the largest country in South America and the world’s fifth largest country geographically and in terms of population. This vast nation plays host to some of the greatest people on the earth. Brazil’s rich history and passion for God has been challenged by the economic firestorm that hit the entire country. The unfortunate reality of corruption and mismanagement has left the nation reeling and the church adversely impacted. Nevertheless, God continues to show his strength and supremacy over disappointment, chaos, and misguided leadership. We are continuing our efforts to forge ahead with teams who can encourage youth and adults. This combination is reminiscent of how God gifted David in Psalms 78:72: So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart and guided them by the skillfulness of hands.

For more than 10 years we have deployed teams filled with young adults and those young at heart who have pushed back the darkness with the light of God’s liberating truth. They have ministered through music, dance, spoken word, preached word and often the release of a Rhema Word. They have worked alongside their contemporaries to distribute clothes, feed the poor, ministered in services that have resulted in thousands coming to know Christ. While this trip is framed for youth and those young at heart, it is open to all who envision an “out of the box experience”. Prepare to be stretched and challenged by this exciting mission undertaking. Youth can expect to sing and pray in hospitals, prayer-walk, visit families and children in favelas (slums), while facilitating and attending conference classes. Nightly worship services will be an integral part of the youth mission. There is a need for pastors, youth, youth ministers, chaperones, evangelists, praise dancers, Christian rappers, musicians and a host of other gifted people in the body.

Adults will conduct seminars centered on family activity and Shalom’s normal aggressive push to make the King known.

The total cost of the trip is $3,400.00. An incremental payment schedule is shown below for those who will commit to fulfilling “The Great Commission” with Shalom on this trip. We will provide a mandatory four-hour intensive training program (date and location to be determined) to prepare and brief the team on our mission. Included in the cost is all training, airfare from Washington, DC to Brazil and return, taxes, ground transportation, food and housing. Visas are required for travel to Brazil and the cost of the visa is independent of the overall trip expense. Mombasa, Kenya - A Medical Mission - Healing Hands / August 18 - 27, 2019 / $3,575

In Kenya we have two waves of missionaries, 1 team going to the coastal area of Kenya conducting a medical camp, and another team going to the Kiserian area of Maasai land. The medical mission that we undertake in Kenya is one of the most unique missional experiences that one will ever experience. Our work takes place on the pristine shores of the Mombasa which welcomes the waves of the Indian Ocean. Mombasa is heavily populated with Muslims who are both God fearing and God loving people. Over the past five years, we have been able to service approximately ten thousand people with medical exams, medical services and dentistry services. Those services have opened the door for us to equally share an introduction to the "Great Physician".

The team will hand carry medical supplies, equipment and clothing, distribute those items at the appointed time and provide free medical and dental care and distribute medication. We will deploy medical professionals who will help meet the health needs of thousands who live in small villages. This trip is intended for medical professionals and those who may not have a medical background or experience but have a heart to help address the needs of those who live in difficult circumstances. There is a need for pastors, evangelists, lay people, doctors, dentists, nurses and people who care.

The other team will take time and minister to the Maasai people through leadership training, women conferences and community service. They will have an opportunity to reach the Maasai culture while carrying out door to door outreach in the villages and Manyattas, as well as interact with their children.

The total cost of the trip is $3,575.00. An incremental payment schedule is shown below for those who will commit to fulfilling “The Great Commission” with Shalom on this trip.
